On arrival in Nairobi, you are met by an Elida Tours and Safaris
representative and then transferred to Serena Hotel. After a safari briefing
we take you to visit the giraffe centre, where you get a chance to feed
these tall mammals, the Karen Blixen Museum and Mamba Village are homes
to the coastal crocodiles. We stop briefly at Utamaduni center and Kazuri
beads and pottery where you can shop for handcrafted goods and jewellery.
In the evening we join our travel companions for a welcome dinner at one

An early morning drive sets us off for the Aberdare Mountains, home to
rare and unusual animals such as the colobus monkey, bongo and rhino.
After lunch at the Base hotel, we transfer to the Forest lodge and view
game throughout the night on the illuminated water hole, from the comfort

After breakfast, drive past the majestic Mt. Kenya, cross the equator,
and enter this reserve in time for lunch. In the afternoon, we come across
the Samburu people wrapped in their colorful clothes and jewellery. The
wildlife in Samburu includes the typical northern species such as the
reticulated giraffe, grevy zebra, leopard, elephant and a multitude of
birds. After an evening game drive you return to the lodge to cool down
in the pool and enjoy a sundowner while watching the traditional dances
of Samburu Warriors. After dinner we watch the evening feeding of the
crocodiles and retire to the sounds and scents of the African night. Overnight:

The morning and afternoon game drives in the heart of this arid savannah
gives us a chance to see enormous numbers of plains game, and if we are
lucky, lions on the prowl, herds of elephants and giraffe. We return to
the lodge at midday for lunch and a siester at the poolside, before leaving

Drive into the Great Rift Valley, arriving at our lodge in Lake Nakuru,
home to thousands of flamingos, which create a shimmering pink hue over
the lake. A rhino sanctuary also makes it easier for us to spot the endangered
white rhino. Luck permitting, we may see hundreds of vivid birds, leopard,
antelope and other wildlife. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy an afternoon
game drive and a sundowner before dinner. Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill

Depart early this morning for Kenya’s most magnificent national
reserve, the Maasai mara. This reserve is famous for its yearly migration,
where countless numbers of wildebeests, zebras and topis move into the
Maasai mara from the neighbouring Serengeti in Tanzania. The reserve has
many lion prides, cheetah, zebra, baboon, wart hog and teeming plains
game. Search for these animals during this afternoon's game drive. Overnight:

Travel across the savannah during our morning and afternoon game drives
to view the vast numbers of animals and birds resident to the reserve.
Optional activities include hot-air ballooning and a visit to a Maasai

After a last early morning breakfast and Mara game drive depart for Nairobi
arriving in time for lunch at the world famous carnivore restaurant. From
the Nairobi Serena (day room) you are transfered in the evening to Jomo
Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Mombasa overnight at
the Mombasa Serena Hotel or similar( B) (L) (D)
