DriftWood Beach Club

Location: The Driftwood Beach club is located 3km south of Malindi town centre just 5 minutes drive from the Malindi Airport. Malindi is on the north coast of Mombasa , approximately 120kms way.

Accommodation: Driftwood offers accommodation for 70 guests in individual air-conditioned bandas (cottages) with thatched roofs and small verandas. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and mosquito nets. The hotel provides 9 seaview rooms. The other rooms are spread out in tropical gardens, a short walk away from the beach. 2 extra luxury cottages are situated in a private walled garden with their own swimming pool. Each cottage has two double en-suite bedrooms with a living room and veranda overlooking the pool.

On request driftwood provides three luxury self-catering villas situated in secluded private premises directly behind the club with a private swimming pool. Two of the villas have 2 double air-conditioned bedrooms and one villa has a third single room. Each villa has its own kitchen, living/dining room and veranda overlooking the swimming pool.

Facilities: The main dining room and bar overlook the Indian Ocean. Drift wood restaurant offers a choice between table d’hôtel and a la carte menus including daily specials offering a wide variety of fresh seafood. During the day free snack menu is offered at the poolside.
